time switch combines advantages of staircase light timer and latching
relay, which replaces the traveller system.

Tryby pracy:
- F1 - The light is turned on by pressing any of the triggering push-buttons, which are parallel-connected and their number is freely selectable. The light is turned off automatically once the set time has elapsed or it may be switched off at any time by pressing the same or any other triggering push-button.
- F2 - Latching relays based on microcontroller technology have also a “cleaning” function, which allows switching-on the light and keeping it on for a longer time necessary e.g. for room cleaning. Duration of light ON state is factory set and its default value is 60 minutes. The “cleaning” function is selectable by pressing any triggering push-button twice with delay no longer than 1.5 second.
- F3 - Duration of light ON state in the basic operation mode may be adjusted by a knob within the range of 1 to 30 minutes. When installing, time limit may be inactivated. Upon request producer may program other ranges of time settings.

Latching relays may work with unlimited number of triggering
push-buttons illuminated with neon lamps or LEDs. The number of neon
lamps used is unlimited, whereas the number of triggering push-buttons
illuminated with LEDs is limited by total current taken by all LEDs
which may not exceed 10 mA.
In all operation modes, latching relays are resistant to damage or mechanical locking of triggering push-buttons in ON position. When only one latching relay is used in the whole system, resistance to damage / mechanical locking of triggering pushbutton is achieved and even if the push-button is damaged or mechanically blocked, the light turns off. But, in this case, as all triggering push-buttons are parallel-connected, if one of them is blocked or damaged, the other ones are also inactive and the light may not be switched-on. Therefore, for full protection against damage / locking of triggering push-buttons, the number of relays used has to be the same as the number of triggering push-buttons.
